NB/T 20422-2017 is the English-translated version of 压水堆核电厂非能动氢气复合器的鉴定.
NB/T 20422-2017 is the Chinese energy industry standard for the qualification of passive autocatalytic hydrogen recombiners used in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
It sets out the principles behind qualification testing, the list of qualification test items, the test methods to be followed and the qualification documentation that has to be produced.
The standard is written for the qualification of passive hydrogen recombiners installed in pressurized water reactor plants, and passive recombiners fitted to other reactor types may be qualified by reference to it.
It is a recommended standard of the National Energy Administration, classified F69 in the Chinese scheme and 27.120.20 internationally, and it quotes NB/T 20143.1-2012. Issued on 10 February 2017, it has applied since 1 July 2017.
