NB/T 20402-2017 is the English-translated version of RK压水堆安全重要流体系统单一故障准则.
NB/T 20402-2017 sets out the single failure criterion as it is applied to the fluid systems important to safety in a pressurized water reactor. The criterion asks that a safety system still perform its function when any one component within it fails, and applying it governs how much redundancy a system is given.
The standard is drawn from the American document ANSI/ANS-58.9-R2009 and cites NB/T 20035. Issued on 10 February 2017, it has applied since 1 July 2017.
