NB/T 20393-2016 is the English-translated version of 压水堆核电厂稳压器电加热器技术条件.

NB/T 20393-2016 is the Chinese energy industry standard for the pressurizer electric heaters of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. It fixes the requirements for their design, manufacture, inspection, testing, acceptance and packaging.

The heaters it addresses are those of pressurizers built to the French RCC series specifications, and heaters fitted to the pressurizers of other pressurized water reactor plants may be handled with reference to it.

Its provisions rest on GB/T 16702, GB/T 17569, several parts of the NB/T 20001 to NB/T 20009 nuclear equipment series and the HAF 003 quality assurance rules. It takes the place of EJ/T 398-1989. Issued on 5 February 2016, it has applied since 1 July 2016.
