NB/T 20178-2012 is the English-translated version of 压水堆核电厂核取样系统设计准则.
NB/T 20178-2012 is the Chinese energy industry standard that fixes the design criteria for the nuclear sampling system of a pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant.
It sets the basic design requirements that let the sampling system perform its intended function safely and reliably. The criteria are written for the nuclear sampling system of second generation improved pressurized water reactor plants, and the sampling systems of other reactor types may take them as a reference.
Design of the individual equipment in the system is left out, and so are the operation, maintenance and test requirements unless they bear directly on the design.
GB 4960.2 and GB/T 17569 are cited in it. Issued on 19 October 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
