Scope
NB/T 20177-2012 is the English-translated version of 压水堆核电厂设备冷却水系统设计准则.
NB/T 20177-2012 is a recommended Chinese energy industry standard on the design of the component cooling water system of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
It gives the basic requirements for designing the cooling water system that serves safety-related equipment, so that the system can perform its intended function safely and reliably.
It applies to the design of that system in active pressurized water reactor plants and may be taken as a reference for passive ones; the equipment of the system is not itself designed to this standard, and operation, maintenance and testing stay outside it except where they bear directly on the design.
It is used with GB/T 4083, GB/T 12727, GB/T 13286, GB/T 13625, GB/T 17569, NB/T 20035 and NB/T 20036. Issued on 19 October 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
