NB/T 20169-2012 is the English-translated version of 压水堆核电厂汽动辅助给水泵特定鉴定规程.
NB/T 20169-2012 is the Chinese energy industry standard giving the qualification procedure for the turbine-driven auxiliary feedwater pump of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
It fixes the qualification methods, the procedure to be followed and the documentation required for second-generation improved PWR units, for sets in which the turbine and the pump share a common shaft.
The equipment boundary takes in the pump, the steam turbine, the main and control valves with their actuating mechanisms, the support, base and anchor bolts, and the bearing lubrication and sealing systems.
Externally powered control mechanisms, non-metallic pump parts such as O-rings, and electrical equipment lie outside it. It quotes GB/T 3216-2005, JB/T 8097, JB/T 8098, NB/T 20036.1 and NB/T 20036.2. Issued on 19 October 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
