NB/T 20036.4-2011 is the recommended Chinese energy industry standard for qualifying the dynamic restraints used in nuclear power plants. It gives the requirements and the guidance on method for that qualification, and it treats a restraint as an assembly whose component parts may be qualified separately as part of qualifying the whole.

Hydraulic dampers, mechanical dampers and gap limiters all fall within it, and the range qualified runs from pin to pin. Restraints and their parts must also satisfy parts 1, 2 and 3 of NB/T 20036, and where this part disagrees with those, this part takes precedence.

NB/T 20036.1, NB/T 20036.2-2011 and NB/T 20036.3 are quoted. Issued on 1 July 2011, it has applied since 1 October 2011.
