Scope

NB/T 11535-2024 is the English-translated version of 喷射混凝土回弹率测定试验方法.

NB/T 11535-2024 sets the Chinese energy industry test for measuring how much shotcrete bounces off the surface during spraying. It defines rebound material, the rebound rate as a mass ratio, the sheet laid to collect the rebound, and separate rebound from the side walls and from the roof of a tunnel.

The document covers the test principle, basic requirements, instruments, test steps, data processing and the test report, with an informative rebound test record form.

It applies to cement concrete sprayed during shotcrete construction, where the rebound and the material bonded to the wall are weighed to obtain the rate. Issued on 24 May 2024, it has applied since 24 November 2024.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Rebound material

During the concrete spraying process, the splashed materials that are ejected through the nozzle and not bonded to the sprayed wall surface.

3.2 Rebound rate

The mass ratio of the rebound material to the total mass of the bonding material and the rebound material on the sprayed wall.

3.3 Rebound collection sheet

A non-absorbent plastic film or tarp used to collect rebound material.

3.4 Side wall rebound

Material rebound caused by concrete spraying on both sides of the tunnel.

3.5 Roof rebound

Material rebound caused by concrete spraying at the top of the tunnel.

4 Test Principle

Using the shotcrete construction process, the rebound material mass Wt, the bonded material mass Ws on the sprayed wall and the rebound material mass Wt are obtained.
