NB/T 10425-2020 is a recommended Chinese energy industry standard on running and inspecting the downhole pumps of coalbed methane wells.
It gives the technical requirements for designing and writing the pump running and pump inspection programme, for the preparations before construction, for the operating procedures themselves, and for quality control, data recording and the construction summary, and it covers health, safety and environmental protection as well.
It applies to pump running and pump inspection operations in vertical, directional and horizontal coalbed methane wells. Its references are SY/T 5587.3-2013, SY/T 5587.5-2018, SY/T 5643-2010, SY/T 5718, SY/T 5727-2014 and SY/T 6690-2016. Issued on 23 October 2020, it has applied since 1 February 2021.
