NB/T 10025-2016 is the English-translated version of 水基压裂液敏感性评价用人工煤心制作方法.

The recommended energy industry standard NB/T 10025-2016 describes how to make artificial coal cores for the sensitivity evaluation of water-based fracturing fluids.

It sets out the materials and equipment used, the sampling and preparation of the coal, the making of the artificial core itself and the quality control applied to it.

The method is written for sensitivity evaluation of water-based fracturing fluid, and samples prepared for water sensitivity, alkali sensitivity and acid sensitivity testing may follow it by reference.

Coal sampling and analysis draw on GB/T 474 and GB/T 482, while SY/T 5107 and SY/T 5336 are quoted on the fracturing fluid side. Issued on 16 August 2016, it has applied since 1 December 2016.
