LY/T 3470-2026 is a technical specification for desertification control carried out together with photovoltaic power generation, that is, for combining solar photovoltaic installations with measures to stabilise and restore sandy and desertified land. The document is written for projects where power generation and sand control are planned to work in the same area, and it gives technical guidance for carrying out such projects.

Land managers and forestry and grassland authorities, photovoltaic project developers, design institutes, construction contractors and monitoring or acceptance bodies can use it as a reference for planning and delivering this type of project. It is a voluntary industry standard (code with /T), approved by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration and prepared under the National Technical Committee for Desertification Control Standardization. It was issued on 3 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. The specification does not replace any earlier edition.
