Grassland managers, herders' cooperatives, ecological restoration contractors, forestry and grassland authorities, and technical advisers can use it as a working reference, and inspectors can use it when checking restoration projects. It is a voluntary industry standard, as the /T in its code shows. It was issued by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration on 3 June 2026 and comes into force on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
