3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document:

forest site

The environment of the spatial unit in which trees and woodlands are located:

site quality the sum of environmental conditions affecting the productivity of forests and other vegetation, including abiotic and biotic factors such as climate, soil, topography, etc:

Expressed in terms of the potential productivity of a given forest or other vegetation type on a site:

[Source: LY/T 2415-2015, 3:2, modified] 3.3 reference age A specific age used to indicate site quality: Comprehensively consider the following aspects to determine the reference age: an age after the tree height growth tends to be stable:

stage; harvesting age; half the natural maturity age; the age when the average growth of volume or tree height is maximum: Mixed forests come from dominant tree species Sure:

[Source: LY/T 2415-2015,3:6] 3.4 on a certain site, in a certain forest, the annual growth rate of the maximum unit area basal area, stock volume or biomass at the reference age long amount:

Stand growth type A class of stands with similar tree species composition, same origin, similar site conditions, and similar growth processes:

Note: The same stand growth type has similar potential productivity:
