Introduction

The purpose of the certification of carbon-neutral products is to confirm that the applicant will neutralize the carbon emissions from the carbon emissions of its products throughout its life cycle.

Carrying out carbon neutral product certification is an important measure for forestry to cope with climate change. It is to promote green and low-carbon development and guide green consumption.

The important means of expenses is also an important manifestation of the company's active performance of social responsibility.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for products to implement carbon neutrality certification, including product carbon emissions measurement, carbon sink sources, carbon neutrality, Carbon neutral product identification, management system, etc.

This standard applies to carbon neutral product certification activities implemented in the People's Republic of China.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Applicant

An organization that proposes certification of carbon neutral products to certification bodies.

Product

Goods or services defined by the applicant whose carbon emissions are to be measured and quantified and neutralized according to this standard.

6 Product carbon neutrality

6.1 The applicant may use its purchased or owned forestry carbon sinks to neutralize the carbon emissions of its specific quantities and products.

6.2 The applicant shall deduct the carbon sinks in its carbon sink management account accordingly when conducting carbon neutralization, and it should exceed the amount of carbon sinks actually held in its carbon sink management account.

6.3 Carbon neutral products shall be physically separated from other products.

7 Carbon neutral product identification

7.1 The applicant may use the special logo of the China Forest Certification System on its carbon neutral products.

7.2 The applicant shall meet the relevant requirements of the China Forestry Certification System on identification when using the identification.
