Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document replaces LY/T 2286-2014 "Guidelines for Testing Specificity, Consistency and Stability of New Varieties of Plants Catalpa", and is in line with Compared with LY/T 2286-2014, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Added "Terms and Definitions" (see Chapter 3);

b) Change "abbreviations" to "symbols and abbreviations", and add descriptions of symbols and abbreviations (see Chapter 4, Section 3 of the 2014 edition chapter);

c) Changed the expression form of the requirements for the relevant traits, quantity requirements, tree age and reproduction methods submitted by the test materials (see Chapter 5, 4.1 of the 2014 edition);

d) Changed the requirements for "Test location" (see 6.2, 4.2.2 of the 2014 edition);

e) Changed the requirements of "test conditions" (see 6.3, 4.2.3 of the 2014 edition);

f) Changed the requirements of "test design" (see 6.4, 4.2.4 of the 2014 edition);

g) Deleted "Test methods for similar traits" (see 4.2.5 of the 2014 edition);

h) Deleted "Test methods for individual traits" (see 4.2.6 of the 2014 edition);

i) Changed the location and expression of "additional tests" (see 6.6, 4.2.7 of the 2014 edition);

j) Changed "Specificity, Consistency and Stability Evaluation" to "Specificity, Consistency and Stability Judgment" (see Chapter 7, 2014 Chapter 5 of the edition);

k) Added the "general principle" of "specificity, consistency and stability determination" (see 7.1);

l) Changed "specificity" to "specificity judgment", and changed the specific content of "constant difference" and "significant difference" (see 7.2, 2014 version 5.1);

m) Changed "Consistency" to "Consistency Judgment", and changed the specific content (see 7.3, 5.2 of the 2014 edition);

n) Changed "stability" to "stability judgment", and changed the specific content (see 7.4, 5.3 of the 2014 edition);

o) Changed the specific content of "Description of Variety Grouping" (see 8.1, 6.1 of the 2014 edition);

p) Changed "grouping characteristics" to "grouping traits", and added "leaf. multicolor" and "inflorescence. type" of "grouping traits" (see 8.2.2, 8.2.3), deleted "leaf surface coat" and "fruit length" (see 6.2.2, 6.2.3 of the 2014 edition), adjusted "leaf. shape" the form of expression (see 8.2.1, 6.2.1 of the 2014 edition);

1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for the specificity, consistency and stability testing of new plant varieties of the genus CatalpceScop.

This document is applicable to the specificity, consistency and stability testing of new varieties of Catalpa plants.

5.1 The applicant should submit the plant materials of the test varieties that meet the quantity and quality requirements according to the specified time and place. From overseas or other regions
