Foreword

LY/T 2154 "Guidelines for Engineering Design Review Based on the Role of Forest Ecosystems" is intended to develop the following sections.

--- Part 1. General outline;

--- Part 2. Forest harvesting;

--- Part 3. Forest roads;

This part is the third part of LY/T 2154.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part is proposed and managed by the National Forest Engineering Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC362).

This section is responsible for drafting unit. Harbin Forestry Machinery Research Institute of the State Forestry Administration.

Participated in the drafting of this section. Investigation and Design Institute of the State Forestry Administration, Forest Engineering Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, China Institute of Forest Ecology, Environment and Protection, Academy of Forestry, Institute of Forestry Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Forestry, Daxingan, Inner Mongolia Ling Forestry Administration.

1 Scope

This part of LY/T 2154 specifies the principles, procedures and contents of the design review of forest road engineering based on the role of forest ecosystems.

This section applies to forest management organizations that need to conduct internal audits of forest road engineering designs based on the role of forest ecosystems.

3 Principles of review

In addition to complying with the provisions of LY/T 2154.1, the principles of auditing should also focus on.

a) Combination of points and lines, paying attention to the regional nature of the forest roads;

b) Focus on protection and restoration measures for road ecosystems.

Note. "Point" refers to the road ecosystem protection target, key project area and auxiliary project area target, and "line" refers to the forest road section.

4 Audit procedures

The procedures for the audit shall be conducted in accordance with LY/T 2154.1.

5 Content requirements for review

5.1 Preparation phase

5.1.1 Preparation of engineering documents and references

5.1.1.1 Project documents may include.

a) Design document for route selection of forest road planning;

b) road construction design documents in the forest area;

c) Forest area road planning approval documents.

5.1.1.2 References may include.

a) Social, economic and ecological related literature in the area where the forest road is located;

b) relevant literature on the ecological environment of the road;

c) relevant literature on previous engineering activities and external interference;

d) Other relevant literature.
