This document specifies the technical requirements for specificity, consistency and stability testing of new varieties of Syringa L. plants.

5 Test Materials

5.1 The applicant shall submit test materials that meet the quantity and quality requirements at the specified time and place.

Materials should comply with customs, plant quarantine and other requirements.

5.2 The test materials submitted should be at least 2-year-old plants of asexual reproduction and of uniform age. For grafted reproduction, the rootstock type and plant age should be stated.
