Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document replaces LY/T 1355-2010 Rosin. Compared with LY/T 1355-2010, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Changed the description of the appearance of rosin (see Table 1, Table 1 of the 2010 edition);

--- Deleted the requirements for the size of mechanical impurities in the original technical requirements (see Table 1, Table 1 of the 2010 edition);

--- Added technical requirements for slash pine resin (see Table 2);

--- Added test methods for technical indicators (see Chapter 6);

--- Added gas chromatography method for determining turpentine content (see 6.3.2);

--- Added safety provisions (see Chapter 9).

1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, sampling, acceptance rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and safety of rosin and describes the corresponding tests.
