Foreword

This standard is the first revision of LY/T 1197-1996 "Test Method for Portable Pulsed Smoke Machines".

The main changes in this standard compared with LY/T 1197-1996 are as follows.

--- Added standard English name;

--- Removed a reference standard (see Chapter 2);

--- Revised the performance test project (5.2 of the 1996 edition; 5.2 of this edition);

--- Modified starting performance and smoke effect test (5.3.1 and 5.3.2 of the 1996 edition; 5.3.1, 5.3.2 and 5.3.3 of this edition);

--- Modified the rated spray volume and gasoline consumption measurement (1996 version 5.4.1, 5.4.2 and 5.4.3; this version of 5.4.1, 5.4.2 and 5.4.3);

--- Removed the measurement of the diameter of the fog particles (5.5 of the 1996 edition);

--- Modified the measurement of noise at the ear (5.6.1 and 5.6.3 of the 1996 edition; 5.5.1 and 5.5.3 of this edition);

--- Removed the deformation measurement before and after immersion of the test piece in the corrosion resistance test (1995 edition of 5.8.4);

--- Modified the gas-tightness test of the combustion chamber-nozzle (5.10.1 of the 1996 edition; 5.9.1 of this edition);

--- Increased the whole machine oscillating smoke test (5.10.1 and 5.10.2 of this edition);

--- Revised the condition check of the durability test (7.3 of the 1996 edition; 7.3 of this edition);

--- Removed the 1996 edition of Appendix D "Fog Particle Diameter Measurement Table";

--- Revised the normative appendix (Appendix A, B, C, E, G, H, I of the 1996 edition; Appendix A, B, C, D, F, G, H of this edition);

--- Added the normative appendix "Complete machine oscillating smoke test record" (Appendix I of this edition).

This standard replaces LY/T 1197-1996 from the date of implementation.

Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D, Appendix E, Appendix F, Appendix G, Appendix H, and Appendix I of this standard are all normative appendices.

This standard is proposed and managed by the National Forestry Machinery Standardization Technical Committee.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the test method for portable pulse smoke machines.

This standard applies to portable smoke machines powered by pulse engines (referred to as smoke machines).

The terms in the following documents become the terms of this standard by reference to this standard. All dated references, followed by all Modifications (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this standard, however, parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to study is it possible to use the latest version of these files? 3 General

3.1 This test method is used to determine the technical performance of a fog machine. The test items include the measurement of technical parameters of the whole machine, performance test and production test.

And durability test.

3.2 The technical condition of the test sample shall comply with the relevant provisions of LY/T 1196.1.

3.3 Tests should be accompanied by full-time testers and operators.

4 Determination of technical parameters of the whole machine

According to the items listed in 5.1.5 of LY/T 1196.1-2004, the technical parameters of the whole machine and the residual liquid of the liquid tank are measured. Measurement data in Appendix A.
