JT/T 1582-2026 gives guidelines for the planning and design of the connection system and the collection and distribution system of an integrated passenger transport hub, meaning the links by which passengers and traffic reach and leave the hub. It applies to the planning and design of these systems for new, extended and rebuilt integrated passenger transport hubs.
The guidelines are used by transport and urban planning authorities, planning and design institutes, hub developers and operators, and consultants. It is a voluntary standard, as the /T in its code shows. It was approved by the Ministry of Transport, issued on 26 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 July 2026. It is a new standard and does not replace an earlier edition.

JT/T 1582-2026 is a recommended industry standard of the People's Republic of China in the Highway & Transport sector, approved and issued by the Ministry of Transport on 26 March 2026, with effect from 1 July 2026.
It is administered by the National Technical Committee for Integrated Transport Standardization.

1 Scope
JT/T 1582-2026 gives guidelines for the planning and design of the connection system and the collection and distribution system of an integrated passenger transport hub, meaning the links by which passengers and traffic reach and leave the hub. It applies to the planning and design of these systems for new, extended and rebuilt integrated passenger transport hubs.
