Foreword

This standard is in accordance with GB/T Draft the rules given in 1-2009.

This standard is proposed by the Transportation Services Department of the Ministry of Transport.

This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Road Transport Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC 521).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the rules for the classification of road cargo transportation vehicles.

This standard applies to the classification of road cargo transportation vehicles.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Rigid bar trailer barrailer Trailer with one-axis or multi-axis structure, driven by a towing vehicle, and.

a) the traction device cannot move vertically relative to the trailer;

b) when the load is uniform, the axle is located close to the center of gravity of the trailer;

c) The vertical static load of the trailer acting on the tractor is greater than 10% of the maximum designed gross mass of the trailer, or greater than 1,000 kg and less than 2,000kg.

3 Vehicle type division rules

The types of road cargo transportation vehicles are classified according to the principles and order of total mass, structure, type of transported goods, automobile power, and vehicle types.

You can select one to five categories for combination. See Table 1 for details. Which is divided into heavy, medium, light and micro according to the total mass See Table 2 for details. See Appendix A for examples.

a "Tank type" corresponds to "Special Cargo Transportation (Tank Container Transportation)" in "Types of Transported Cargo", and the corresponding type of transported goods is no longer marked.

b "Vehicle transportation" corresponds to "special cargo transportation (vehicle transportation)" in "Types of transported goods", and the corresponding types of transported goods are no longer marked.

c "Container transportation" corresponds to "special cargo transportation (container transportation)" in "Types of transported goods", and the corresponding types of transported goods are no longer marked.

d "Low slab" is applicable to "transportation of large items" in "transport cargo type" and "semi-trailer" in "vehicle type".

e "Closed" applies to "cargo vehicles" in "Vehicle Types".

f "Special cargo transportation" means one of "container transportation", "refrigerated storage and transportation", "tank container transportation" and "vehicle transportation".

g The items in "Automotive Power" apply to "Cargo Trucks", "Semi-trailer Tractor" and "Tractor Trucks" in "Vehicle Type".

h "Center-mounted trailer" is applicable to "van", "vehicle transportation" and "container transportation" in "structure".

ii "Rigid pole trailer" is applicable to "Vehicle transportation" in "Structure".

j "Half-mounted towing platform" is only applicable to "Total Mass" category.
