JC/T 698-2025 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 19 August 2025 and has been in force since 1 March 2026.

It replaces the earlier edition JC/T 698-2010.

2 Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, raw materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, and storage of gypsum blocks. This document applies to gypsum blocks used for non-load-bearing interior partition walls in buildings.
