JC/T 687-2010 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 22 November 2010 and has been in force since 1 March 2011.

It replaces the earlier edition JC/T 687-1998.

2 Scope

This standard specifies the horizontal glass tempering furnace with a fused silica ceramic rollers classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transport and storage. This standard applies to horizontal glass tempering furnace and supporting the transmission of fused silica glass ceramic roller (hereinafter referred to as quartz ceramic rollers). This standard applies to the alumina content of not less than 70 % of the wear and alumina balls.
