It replaces the earlier edition JC 658.1-1997.

It is one of 2 parts of the JC/T 658 series.

2 Scope

This standard specifies the SMC combined water storage tanks (hereinafter referred to as the tank) definitions, marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and packaging, transportation and storage. This standard applies to tanks assembled by the SMC board (hereinafter referred to as the Board) from a tank used to store drinking water and non- drinking water.
