1 Foreword

JC/T 622-2009 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 4 December 2009 and has been in force since 1 June 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition JC/T 622-1996.

2 Scope

This standard specifies the silicate sand grade building products, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to autoclaved aerated concrete (hereinafter referred to as aerated concrete), autoclaved sand-lime brick (hereinafter referred to as sand-lime brick) with sand. Other silicates may also refer to building products using sand.
