1 Foreword

JC/T 525-2007 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 22 September 2007 and has been in force since 1 April 2008.

It replaces the earlier edition JC/T 525-1993.

2 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions slag bricks, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transport and storage. This standard applies to the slag as the main raw material, mixed with the right amount of lime, gypsum, been mixed, pressing, steam curing or autoclave curing slag from solid brick. Slag brick wall and base parts are mainly used in general building.
