1 Foreword

JC/T 458-2025 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 10 April 2025 and has been in force since 1 November 2025.

It replaces the earlier edition JC/T 458-1992.

2 Scope

This standard specifies the shape, size designation and classification, technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of diamond glass edging wheels. This document applies to metal-bonded diamond hot-pressed sintered edging wheels, resin-bonded edging wheels and diamond electroplated edging wheels with diameters between 50 mm and 250 mm.
