2 Scope
This standard is the first part of a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on vibrating tables, and it holds the types and the basic parameters. It gives the terms and definitions, the types, the product types and the basic parameters of the table. It applies to the tables used in resin sand moulding and core making, in sodium silicate sand moulding and core making, and in the EPC and V-process moulding methods; the machine is also called an inertial vibrating table or a mechanical vibrating table.
