1 Foreword

JB/T 9016-2013 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It is one of 3 parts of the JB/T 9016 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the chain and the sprocket of overhead conveyors. It fixes the basic parameters and the dimensions of the detachable traction chain and the tooth profile of the sprocket. Technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage are laid down for both components. The standard applies to overhead conveyors, among other uses. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 1348 and GB/T 11352, the two standards quoted in its text, and it carries the Chinese classification J81 and the international classification 53.040.20.
