JB/T 6803.2-1993, the second part of its series, is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on liquid manometers, and specifically on the precision cup type and U type instruments. It sets the product classification, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging and storage. It applies to precision cup type and U type manometers used to measure the pressure, the vacuum and the differential pressure of non-corrosive gases, liquids and steam. GB 1146, GB 1784, ZB Y002 and ZB Y003 are the documents quoted in it, and it carries classification N11 for measuring instruments. Issued on 9 July 1993, it has applied since 1 January 1994.
