JB/T 6703-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6703-1993.

2 Scope

Bench testing of tractor clutches is the subject of JB/T 6703-2014, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. It sets out the bench test methods for dry friction clutch assemblies and for their individual components. Its field is the dry friction clutch of tractors, and the standard notes that clutches of other agricultural and forestry machinery may follow it as a reference. QC/T 518-2013, an automotive industry standard, is quoted in its text. It replaces JB/T 6703.1-2000 and JB/T 5184-2004.
