2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on cylinder liners for internal combustion engines, and this sixth part is devoted to liners whose running surface is hardened by laser treatment. It fixes the terms and definitions used for laser-quenched cylinder liners and then sets the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules that go with them.
