1 Foreword

JB/T 2671.3-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.

It is one of 5 parts of the JB/T 2671 series.

2 Scope

JB/T 2671.3-2010 is Part 3 of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on tube bending machines, the part devoted to accuracy. It specifies the geometric accuracy and the working accuracy of the wound bender together with the methods for testing them. The part applies to benders that bend coiled tubing under cold conditions. It does not apply to the top heading benders specific to the boiler industry whose bending radius is less than 1.3 times the pipe diameter, an exclusion written into its scope. The document is classified as J62 in the Chinese scheme and 25.120.10 in the international one, and the issuing agency is the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
