The standard applies to nest guides used in dies for automobile panels. In a stamping die for body panels, the nest guide helps to position and locate the sheet metal blank or part in the die. JB/T 15552-2026 treats these guides as die components.

Die makers, automotive stamping plants, component suppliers and quality inspectors will use it. It is a voluntary standard (code with /T). The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved it; it was issued on 13 February 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
