JB/T 15533-2026 covers the device used to remove sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and dust from the flue gas of steel rolling heating furnaces, the furnaces in which steel is heated before rolling. The standard treats this combined desulfurization, denitration and dust removal device as a product and specifies the technical content that applies to it.

Device manufacturers, design institutes, steel plants and other metal-rolling operators that install such equipment, and inspection or test bodies are the intended users. It is a voluntary standard, as the /T in the code shows. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 28 April 2026 and takes effect on 2 November 2026. It is a new standard.
