This standard applies to the multi-bin flue gas denitration reactor, a vessel in which nitrogen oxides in flue gas are removed by catalytic reaction, built with several separate bins or chambers. JB/T 15531-2026 treats the reactor as a product and sets out the technical content for that equipment.

It is intended for designers and manufacturers of environmental protection machinery, engineering contractors, and the power, steel and other industrial operators who purchase or run denitration plant, together with inspection bodies. It is a voluntary standard, as shown by the /T in its code. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 28 April 2026 and effective from 2 November 2026.
