JB/T 15520-2026 deals with wire-wound ultra-high pressure hydraulic presses. In this type of press the frame is wound with steel wire, which holds it in a prestressed state so that it can withstand very high pressure. The standard sets out the provisions that apply to the press as a product.

Manufacturers of forging and forming machinery, users of ultra-high pressure presses in materials and industrial production, designers and inspection bodies are the intended readers. It is voluntary (code with /T). The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 28 April 2026, and it comes into force on 2 November 2026. The National Technical Committee for Forging and Stamping Machinery Standardization is responsible. It is a new standard.
