JB/T 15516-2026 specifies a test method for the performance of the disc-type vacuum filter used in wet flue gas desulfurization. In wet desulfurization the gypsum slurry has to be dewatered, and the disc-type vacuum filter is the machine that does this. The standard describes how the performance of that machine is tested.

The document is for manufacturers of dewatering machines, desulfurization plant operators, test laboratories and buyers who wish to verify performance on a common basis. It is a voluntary standard (code with /T). The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 28 April 2026, and it takes effect on 2 November 2026. The Machinery Industry Technical Committee for Environmental Protection Machinery Standardization is responsible. It is a new standard.
