Manufacturers of desulfurization plant, engineering companies, industrial operators whose processes produce sulfur-bearing flue gas, and testing laboratories are the intended users. The standard is voluntary, as indicated by /T in the code. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 28 April 2026, and it is effective from 2 November 2026. The Machinery Industry Technical Committee for Environmental Protection Machinery Standardization is in charge of it. It is a new standard.
