JB/T 15509-2026 covers powder sintered metal filter bags used for dust removal at high temperature. These filter bags are made by sintering metal powder into a porous filter medium, so that they can capture dust from hot gas streams where fabric bags would not be suitable. The standard sets out the provisions that apply to the product.

Manufacturers of filter elements, makers of dust removal equipment, plant operators in industries with hot dust-laden gas, and testing laboratories can use it. It is a voluntary standard (code with /T). It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 28 April 2026 and takes effect on 2 November 2026. The Machinery Industry Technical Committee for Environmental Protection Machinery Standardization is in charge. It is a new standard.
