JB/T 15277-2026 gives the technical specification for low temperature valves used for hydrogen. It covers valves intended for hydrogen service at low temperature, such as the cryogenic handling and storage of liquid hydrogen, and sets out the technical requirements that apply to this type of valve.

The document is aimed at valve manufacturers, designers of hydrogen equipment and plant, purchasers and test laboratories, who can use it as a shared technical basis for specifying, supplying and checking such valves. It is a voluntary industry standard, as the /T in its code indicates. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 13 February 2026, and it takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
