1 Foreword

JB/T 12966-2016 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 22 October 2016 and has been in force since 1 April 2017.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for rapid detectors of bromate. It fixes the terminology and definitions, the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. The instruments it covers use the colorimetric principle together with a reagent kit and are applied to bromate in drinking water that has been through ozone disinfection. It quotes GB/T 191-2008, GB/T 2829-2002, GB 4793.1-2007, GB/T 11606-2007, GB/T 26810-2011 and JB/T 12020-2014. The classification codes are N53 and ICS 71.040.10.
