Scope

JB/T 12619-2016 is the English-translated version of 法兰和对焊连接耐腐闸阀.

JB/T 12619-2016 is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry for corrosion-resistant gate valves with flanged and butt-welding ends. It sets the pressure-temperature ratings, the design, the materials, the test methods and inspection rules, and the marking and supply of full-bore corrosion-resistant valves for process piping.

It applies to gate valves of nominal pressure Class 150 to Class 600, that is PN20 to PN100, and nominal size DN15 to DN600, with a bolted bonnet, a yoke, a rising stem and a non-rising handwheel, a wedge or parallel disc, single or double, and metal seats; the media named are oil and oil products, natural gas and steam.

It is a modified adoption of API 603-2013. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 228.1, GB/T 9113, GB/T 12220, GB/T 12224-2005, GB/T 26480 and JB/T 8858. Its classifications are J16 and 23.060.30.
