JB/T 12600-2016 is the English-translated version of 大型滚珠丝杠副.

JB/T 12600-2016 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for large ball screws.

It sets out the terms and definitions for these screws, their classification and marking, the acceptance conditions and tolerances, the acceptance procedure, the appearance quality, the marking, the rust protection and the packaging and transport arrangements.

It applies to ball screws with nominal diameters from 63 mm to 250 mm and effective strokes above 6 300 mm and up to 12 500 mm, which the text calls simply screws.

It quotes GB/T 191-2008, GB/T 1800.1-2009, GB/T 17587.1-1998 and JB/T 3207-2005. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it, with Chinese classification J51 and international classification 25.060.99.
