Scope
JB/T 12474.2-2015 is the English-translated version of 焦炉机械 第2部分：顶装式装煤车.
The top charging car of coke oven machinery is covered by Part 2 of JB/T 12474, published as JB/T 12474.2-2015. The standard sets out the working conditions, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, together with marking, packaging, transport and storage.
It applies to top charging coal cars and not to side charging cars; the coke ovens referred to in the standard are hot ovens, and all coke oven dimensions given in it are those of the oven in the hot state.
