JB/T 12334-2015 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that describes how the noise of a turbocharger is measured. The measurement is made on a test bench, with the turbocharger fitted to a reciprocating internal combustion engine, and the standard gives both an engineering method and a simplified one. It applies to the radial and mixed flow turbochargers that fall within the scope of GB/T 23341.1, and other turbochargers for which no suitable method exists may be tested in the same way. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 23341.2, JB/T 12332 and ISO 15619. The document carries the Chinese classification J91 and the international classification 27.020.
