JB/T 12308-2015 gives the specification for YB3 series 10 kV high-voltage flameproof three-phase asynchronous motors in frame sizes 400 to 630. It sets the types, the basic parameters and dimensions, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, and the marking, packing and warranty period.

The standard applies to motors of that series, and machines derived from it may be made by reference to its provisions. Issued on 10 October 2015 under MIIT Announcement 2015 No. 63, it took effect on 1 March 2016 and is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry.
