1 Foreword

JB/T 12110-2015 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 30 April 2015 and has been in force since 1 October 2015.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard dealing with the optical rolls, or die rollers, from which brightness enhancement gratings are formed, including the rolls used for MD and LCD television gratings and for CPV condenser Fresnel lenses. The document fixes the terminology and definitions, the classification, the size and construction, the technical requirements and the test methods, and adds marking, packaging, transport, storage and recommendations for use. It applies to die rolls for the optical grating functional material of LCOS and LCD displays and of 3D displays, and to CPV condenser lens die rolls; it states that highway reflective die rolls fall outside it. It quotes GB/T 13913-2008 and GB/T 25480.
