JB/T 11898-2014 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for electromagnetic switches. It sets out the safety and performance requirements for the switch, the test methods and the inspection rules. It applies to switches fitted in power tools and similar electrical equipment, where an actuator button is used to switch the supply. The standard is classified K64 in the Chinese system and 29.120.40 in ICS, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it.
