What this standard covers

This standard specifies the product classification and technical requirements of laser line markers, describes the corresponding test methods, and stipulates inspection rules, marking, packaging, completeness, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to the manufacture of laser line markers (including laser line projectors and laser scribing instruments, etc.) with wavelengths between 400nm and 700nm, using semiconductor laser surfaces to mark horizontal and vertical reference planes.
